Quick catchup! School ended for this sem and results JUSSST came in yesterday.
Got a B- for the one i thought i did pretty well (the comms mod) and a B for the one i was pretty sure i was going to fail LOLS. Pulled my gpa up a tiny bit but keep up the good work and do better from this sem on! Shall be one of my resolutions. Speaking of which, i really should take more mods if i want to graduate before my hair turns grey :/
Speaking of resolutions, here's a another one. Try not to compare yourself to other people. Not sure when it started but i'm very sure everyone has done this at least once in their lifetime. But i do hope to do more of the "hey at least i have a job / roof / good health / youth / friends & family" rather than the "I'm not good enough" comparison. It's true, you can always do more, earn more, be fitter, have a stable relationship, do more for your family etc but if you stay true to your conscious and be the best human being you can at the moment i think you're doing great. Always try to grow, but never hate the people around you for doing better than yourself in specific areas, because the grass is truly greener on the other side. & we can never always BE on the other side.
Excited for next year because it means that if i'm still at MDC i will probably go over to work at the new campus (read : HELLA FAR) but muchhhh chic-er than what we have now.
TBVH, yesterday was kinda sad because i had soo much work to do and i hate working from home so i stayed till 11pm to get like 1/4 of the work done. & when i realised literally ALL my colleagues had TGIF / Christmas plans i wanted to ditch OT but no one had time for me already SIAN. LOLs. I laugh everytime someone in my office grumbles about "OT-ING TILL 8PM FARKING TIRED" lol girl you amateur. But really, i am doing only this because i want to, i hate it when people think i'm showing off to the boss that i work hard GURL PLEASE FUCK NI. Older Post | Newer Post
