It all feels right
Saturday, December 14, 2013 | 1:26 AM | 0 comments it's a new year in less than 17 days!
Shrieks!!
Personally, I like the sound of 2014 much more than 2013 so i'm pretty excited.
Top 4 resolutions for 2014 :
1) I will try my best to stand my ground for things I know I want and not give it to people all the time.
2) Make better choices in my human relationships.
3) Stand no bullshit, take no shit from anyone. Stand up for people who needs it.
4) Try. Fail or succeed, try even harder.
Also, less than 3 weeks to my annoying, messy, disgusting, smelly BIG BROTHER'S wedding.
It's crazy.
I live with this person for 20 years and now he's going to run away with this strange girl and make children.
Ok, I exaggerate, Pam's not strange and i definitely don't want to think or speak about them making children but i'm just having last min, abandonment feelings as a kid sister who has one less person in the family to dote on me and annoy the shit out of me. Got my dress and clutch, trying to get my heels and an outerwear, booked an appointment for nails, got to get all that hair out of me, perhaps try to get a make-up artist, I'm not even the one getting married but shit is really going down. HMMMMM don't think I want to go through that so soon. Like, I don't even know what i want for dinner how am I going to decided on which hotel, food items (ok, maybe this i could handle), colour themes, wedding shoots, pleasing parents, HDB Flats, money, finances, toilet habits, closet space, GOD.
Also, watched The Impossible while I was bored at work. Couldn't help but teared a little, touching story about a British (or american?) family on holiday in Phuket when the terrible Dec 26 2004 tsunami happened.I watched as the family was literally torn apart and how they survived and how Lucas (the quiet, angsty teenager) grows out of his shell and man up to take care of his mom. Don't want to spoil it but the family comes together eventually and it all ends happily but not in a cheesy way. You can't help but think how lucky these people were (because it's a true story) and great that they acknowledge the local village brave help for search parties and the trust shown by the family towards these villagers speaking strange languages (thai). Definite recommend!
aight, I'm out!
