Mr selvan may have rejected my proposal but I learnt something. Not from the assignment, not from the performance, the speech, the food nor the games. Instead, it was your guesture. When I arrived at the event all alone, I was lost and early, I didn't know what to do. then I walked around and saw that people were queuing up for souveniers. Wasn't interested initally cos I thought it was just bags and water, which I had no need for. Then I saw the umbrellas. My eyes sparkled. Moreover, It wasn't a bad-looking umbrella. & I really didn't want to walk in the rain to school anymore. I tried means and ways to get it. But the person insisted that I had to have the coupons from home. So yeah, I was left with no choice. Later on, when I came back from a break from interviewing people. There was barely anyone left on the seats. There you were. I saw you. I wanted to interview you. then it was awkward, so I looked away. But when we had eye-contact again, you gave me the tickets and told me to get the umbrella, I was so damn happy. I went and got it. After collecting the Umbrella, I wanted to go back and talk to you, interview you, thank you for the kind Guesture, you seem like a nice enough lady. But I made a mistake. After collecting my umbrella, saw my aunt. Said hi and there we go, she dragged me along to play all kinds of lame carnival games that even her sec 1 kid didn't wanna play. And when I finally got myself away fom her, I went back to where you were. However, I didn't see you again tho. That kinda sucked. I would really, really like to thank you. But nah, I think you might never see this. Anw, thank you for your kindness, stranger. :D |
