Saturday, December 12, 2009 | 8:11 AM | 0 comments Well, I pretty much started work, about a week or less. Well, i basically have 6 colleague, 5 full-time, 1 part-time. 4 of them are considered senior staff. 1 of them although is a part-timer, (I heard) she's been there for quite a long time! So yeah, I'm pretty cool with all of them but I'm kinda disappointed that we can't lunch out with colleagues. Cos we need staff on alert so, those on break (usually 1 or 2) probably go to the store room and eat. 2 are awaiting results ( i believe ) 1 girl is also an "O" student. Yep, so basically, i say "Hi, welcome :D " "How may i help you?" "Need any size?" "No problem!" "Yes, we do alteration. :D" "Oh, of course it's free (not the shirt)" "I'm sure you can fit into M! :D " "Would you like to try it? " etc,etc... all this, round the clock as long as i work, a minimum of 8 hrs a day.
I really , really, love my morning shift, actually i can't wait to learn cashier so i can do more morning shifts and time pass really fast. Maybe more Orientation is needed too :P
Well, i basically like my colleagues Some times life takes a change. Before i started working, I kind of dislike a certain group of people. well, it's kinda like "Foreign talent" group? But not hate just don't really like the country, not the people. But well, one colleague falls under that group. But she's really, really nice. That's what made me change my impression She's really frank about how's she's like, what people back in her country is like, lah da da... so stun was I that I could only stand there and nod my head continuously, assuring her that she wasn't speaking too quickly or loudly & wasn't too fierce. At least she wasn't crazy, at least she wasn't having her own fun nor was she VERY particular. It's funny, it's working with the people i like more that makes me do what's required of me more comfortably than those than watch me with eagle-like eyes, instead of choosing to do it in front of them to prove it to them. Feel kinda sad, cos i feel like my efforts is undermined and prob underestimated. Maybe what I hear as a reasonably loud voice, is actually like a ant's calling to them. I understand that their doing they're job and all, but yeah, Just kinda .. letting go steam. The other people are really nice! Esp the mdm part-timer, she ( tgt with some customers) taught me alot of things. And i really benefited from there. I wonder if i could hold on for th 3 mths, i really hope so. :D Older Post | Newer Post
